From 2 to 10. This group size maintains good dynamics (if there are fewer than 4 people, lessons tend to be less lively since students don't rotate partners) while allowing me to give attention to every student.

Yes, after every unit (3–4 lessons), students take a test. I also give 3 larger review tests per academic year, plus a mid-year test covering half the course and a final test at the end of the year covering the entire course.

Yes, homework is an important part of the learning process. It helps you consolidate what you have learned and even pick up new things. By doing homework and attending classes, you will be practicing English almost every day, and your progress will be quite fast! I can also give personalized homework at a student's request or if I see it is needed.

Lessons are held on the Zoom platform, whose key advantage is the ability to work in pairs — so online classes are just as dynamic as traditional lessons (allowing you to study comfortably from anywhere in the world!). In brief: I give a task, then you work on it independently or in pairs and practice speaking (also in pairs or small groups). After that, we have feedback. During pair work, I move between groups listening, correcting, and helping students.

A student-centered communicative approach. This means the teacher does not lecture but acts as a facilitator and guide. This approach has several advantages: a) Focus on communication: The most important thing is developing the ability to communicate in English. Students learn to speak, listen, read, and write in real communicative situations. b) Active participation: Students actively participate in the lesson — not just listening, but doing. This makes learning more engaging and motivating. c) Effective learning: Instead of passively absorbing information, students process it actively. What will I learn in groups if I speak with mistakes with the same students?

I understand your doubts, but in groups you will be able to: significantly improve speaking skills. Even if you make mistakes, it is important that you are actively using English and building confidence in communication. Communicate with different people: In groups, you will interact with students of different levels and backgrounds. This will allow you to get used to different communication styles. Receive feedback: The teacher and other students can provide you with feedback and help you eliminate mistakes. Group classes are in no way inferior to individual lessons, and in some ways they can even win!

You will study all aspects of English: speaking, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, pronunciation, writing. Most of all there will be communication and words. At lower levels, practical topics are covered, such as "shops", "travel", "free time", "food", "feelings", "opinions", etc. At high levels, more abstract and complex topics are covered, such as "society", "business", "health", "career", etc.

There are 6 levels in total (from simple to complex): Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced.

You will learn conversational practical English that you can apply in any situation: in travel (in a store, hotel, airport), at the doctor, with foreign clients and partners, and in many other situations. In class, students cover all aspects of English: speaking, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, pronunciation, writing.

I don't know grammar well, can I learn it in groups?

Yes! In most lessons, students go over grammar rules and I make every effort to ensure that every student fully understands the topic. Moreover, I give additional homework on difficult topics, as well as videos and tests (after which I can give personal homework if I see that the topic is not sufficiently reinforced).

Of course. Practically every lesson you will have listening, as well as dictations in English. In addition, you will gradually learn the phonetic phenomena of English and start to understand speech much better by ear.

I want to learn business correspondence, essays, and other written work. Can this be done in groups?

Yes, the course has written lessons on all sorts of topics (formal and informal letters, reports, essays, complaints, profile descriptions, cover letters and much more). Moreover, each student has their own electronic notebook where you write your work, and I check and give recommendations (and I can also give additional assignments if needed).

Are classes held in Russian or English?

Classes are held in English, starting from the very first level. If you want to start from scratch - don't worry, I will only use the words you know :) Part of the explanations at the lowest levels (Beginner / Elementary) may be in Russian in order to save time, but my task is to make you speak fluently in English as quickly as possible.

Of course! Depending on the situation, I can correct both immediately and after communication. So don't worry if it seems to you that you are not corrected after every word - I listen carefully and not a single mistake will go unnoticed :)

To study online, you just need to install Zoom and Telegram. I will send detailed instructions and explain everything. Online classes are in no way inferior to traditional lessons. You will also communicate a lot in pairs and mini-groups and will be able to study anywhere in the world (where there is internet).
